ℹ️ How to use the map of the best hikes in Iceland
✅ Grouped hikes
- Hikes that start close to each other are grouped in a green circle. Click on it to display all these walks.
✅ Navigation and route information
- Click on an icon to open a quick overview of the route with its main characteristics.
- Then click on the walk name or the photo to access the full route description.
✅ Map display options
- OpenStreetMap (par défaut) : Quick display with peaks shown.
- OpenTopoMap : Shows topographic relief and elevation contours (select this option via the layers icon at the top right of the map).
✅ Find hikes near you
- Activate geolocation by clicking the
button to display your distance from the trailheads. - Once activated, a list of the nearest hikes is displayed below the map and can be sorted by distance.
