1. Narvtinden

Island: Moskenesøya
Difficulty: Hard

Discover Narvtinden, a spectacular yet little-known peak located on the island of Moskenesøya in the Lofoten Islands. This challenging hike rewards you with breathtaking views of the surrounding fjords, including Selfjorden and Stormarkpollen Bay, as well as the crystal-clear waters of Lake Solbjørnvatnet. Immersing yourself in this pristine wilderness will create lasting memories of the Lofoten Islands' majesty.

2. Jordalsnuten

Region: Vestland
Difficulty: Moderate

Take a spectacular hike to Jordalsnuten, located near Odda in the heart of Norway's magnificent Hardangerfjord region. From the 1,043-meter-high peak, take in the breathtaking panorama: a 360° view of the fjord, the Buarbreen glacier, and the surrounding mountains.

This route is one of my favorites. It showcases the diverse beauty of the Norwegian landscape with high-altitude lakes, waterfalls, fjords, rugged mountains, forests, and a glacier in the background. The most surprising thing? This marvel remains little known and uncrowded, even though it is only a few kilometers from the famous—perhaps too famous—Trolltunga hike. My advice: Go to Jordalsnuten without hesitation! It's much less crowded, more accessible, free, and more varied. It's wild Norway in all its glory!

3. Helvete

Island: Moskenesøya
Difficulty: Hard

Although this hike is difficult, it will greatly reward those who undertake it. Hikers will enjoy breathtaking views of the village of Reine and the magnificent Kirkfjorden, Reinefjorden, and Bunesfjorden fjords, as well as the surrounding peaks. From the summit, much of the island of Moskenesøya is visible. The landscapes along the way are also remarkable, featuring stunning waterfalls, lakes, and lush vegetation.

4. Kollfjellet

Island: Flakstadøya
Difficulty: Hard

Set off on a magnificent hike leading to a small peak ideally located on the island of Flakstadøya. The main difficulty lies in the lack of trails for much of the route, so you will have to make your way through dense vegetation and a birch forest. However, the advantage is that you will encounter very few people, if any, along the way! The views of Flakstadpollen Bay are absolutely stunning.

5. Vardefjellet

Region: Møre og Romsdal
Difficulty: Easy

Overlooking the majestic Norddalsfjord, near Valldal in Norway, the Vardefjellet hike offers a concentration of spectacular landscapes. This little-used route is appealing for its excellent effort/reward ratio: it provides exceptional views of the fjords and surrounding peaks for moderate physical exertion.

Starting at an altitude of around 500 meters, close to the local tree line, which means that almost the entire route is in open terrain. You will therefore enjoy remarkable, unobstructed views along almost the entire route.
