1. Purcaraccia Waterfalls

Region : Souteast
Difficulty : Moderate

An absolutely fabulous site in the heart of the Aiguilles de Bavella Massif. Here you will discover a breathtaking natural spectacle: numerous pools linked by waterfalls and slides, all in a grandiose and unspoilt setting.

2. Cascade des Anglais

Region : Central
Difficulty : Easy

Hidden in the heart of the forest of Vizzavona are magnificent waterfalls fed by the river Agnone. Easily accessible, this place is also very popular during the summer season.

3. Spelunca gorges

Region : Northwest
Difficulty : Easy

In the impressive Spelunca Gorges, discover large natural swimming pools as well as the magnificent Genoese bridges of Zaglia and Pianella.

4. Tavignano Gorge

Region : Central
Difficulty : Moderate

Starting from the town of Corte, the Tavignano Gorges are an equally appealing alternative to the famous neighbouring Restonica Valley. You will discover vast natural basins near the passerelle di u Russulinu, as well as along the river if you choose to walk along its banks on the way back.

5. Bergerie de Tolla

Region : Central
Difficulty : Easy

This delightful walk in the shade of the forest of Vivario will take you to the GR20 and the adjacent Tolla sheepfold. Don't miss the magnificent natural pools of the river Manganelle, which invite you for a refreshing break!

In my opinion, the waterfalls of Purcaraccia surpass the other sites. However, the classification is subjective and this list could easily be extended to include other equally beautiful walks, such as those to the Radule Waterfall, the Aitone Waterfalls or even the Fango Valley.
