Aitone Waterfalls
The Aitone Waterfalls are a series of small cascades and natural pools in the heart of the magnificent Aitone forest, where you'll discover majestic laricio pines, chestnut and beech trees. It's an absolutely charming, refreshing and soothing place. However, the site is very popular, so get there early to avoid the crowds.
The forest path leading to the waterfalls is very easy, making it an ideal family walk. Be sure to explore the site and follow the stream downstream, where you'll find more waterfalls and quieter, less crowded spots. Bear in mind that even in summer, the pools remain very cool, with temperatures rarely exceeding 10 degrees.

The small bonus: the road from Porto to Évisa to reach the trailhead from the west is absolutely magnificent, one of the most beautiful in Corsica.
You can also start the hike from the village of Évisa, which takes around 2h30 to 3h round trip through the magnificent Aitone forest.
