Pointe de la Parata Hike

Hike overview

The Pointe de la Parata hike takes you to one of the most iconic peninsulas in the Gulf of Ajaccio. This area is a favorite walking spot for Ajaccio residents. From this rocky promontory, which is dominated by a 16th-century Genoese tower, you can enjoy spectacular views of the Sanguinaires archipelago. This archipelago consists of four small islands of red porphyry that blaze with purple colors at sunset.

This accessible, family-friendly, short walk offers a magnificent glimpse of Corsica's natural and historical heritage, though it can be busy, especially on weekends and during the summer.
