Pointe de la Parata

Discover the famous Parata peninsula, located at the northwestern tip of the Gulf of Ajaccio. This emblematic site attracts a large number of visitors and is a favorite spot for Sunday strollers from Ajaccio. Enjoy breathtaking views of the coastline, the Sanguinaires islands and the entire Gulf of Ajaccio, especially from the top of the small hill. Standing majestically at the tip of La Parata, a 15th-century Genoese tower was erected to defend the coast against pirate attacks.
