Aiguilles de Bavella
Explore the famous Aiguilles de Bavella, an impressive massif of red granite pinnacles. The starting point for this adventure is the Col de Bavella, often described as the most beautiful in Corsica for the extent and variety of its panorama. This hike is a must in southern Corsica, as it offers an awe-inspiring view that will make you feel tiny in the face of these majestic peaks.
The route follows an excellent path, the yellow-marked variant of the GR20 on the way up, and the GR20 itself marked in red and white on the way back. The ascent is steep and rocky, with a tricky passage equipped with chains. The return along the GR20 is easier, but may seem monotonous in comparison.

REMARKS
Often described as very difficult and technical, this hike is not as daunting as it may seem. The main difficulty lies in the de-escalation passage, for which chains are installed. If you're not prone to vertigo and the terrain isn't too wet, this should not be a major problem. However, if in doubt, don't hesitate to turn back.
