Trou de la bombe
Discover this easy hike in the Bavella massif, which takes you to a fascinating geological formation: the 8-meter-diameter Trou de la Bombe, formed by natural rock erosion. The route begins at the magnificent Col de Bavella, and is largely shaded by the pine forest. Expect to see a lot of people, as this is one of the region's most popular hikes.
The trail is very pleasant, marked in red. It becomes slightly rougher towards the end. It is not advisable to venture up to the chasm itself, as this would require some rock climbing. It's best to stop a few dozen meters before, at the end of the markings.

REMARKS
The hike ends just before reaching the Trou de la Bombe. It's important to know this in advance to avoid disappointment! What's more, the most spectacular viewpoints are actually along the way.
