Bridal veil waterfall
Near the village of Bocognano lies a spectacular natural treasure: the Bridal veil waterfall. At 70 meters high, this impressive waterfall offers a breathtaking spectacle. The origin of its name is shrouded in mystery and legend. According to a metal plaque at the viewpoint, a young runaway bride tragically fell from the waterfall, leaving behind her bridal veil, the only witness to the tragedy.
This is not a hike, but a stroll to the viewpoint. Although the path under the oaks is very short, it is quite steep. Note that the waterfall is particularly impressive in spring, when the water is abundant. In summer, it can be reduced to a trickle or even dry up completely.
