Fango Valley

Discover the Fango Valley, a biosphere reserve recognized by UNESCO in 1977. The Fango River, which you'll follow on this hike, is characterized by its exceptionally clear water, thanks to its low mineral content. Enjoy walking along its banks, dominated by the majestic Capu Tafunatu, which overlooks the entire valley.

From Ponte Vecchiu, follow the orange Mare e Monti trail to the hamlet of Tuvarelli. Along the way, you'll enjoy superb views of the Fango and its many natural pools, lined with reddish rocks.
