Monte Stello

Monte Stello, at 1307 meters, is the second highest mountain of the Cap Corse. The panoramic view from the summit is unrivaled. You can enjoy magnificent views over the whole Cap Corse, the Gulf of Saint-Florent, and on a clear day, as far as the Cinto Massif to the south and the Island of Elba to the east.

The trail is well marked, with orange markings on the ascent to the south and less frequent yellow markings on the descent to the north. The hike ends about two kilometers along the road. The only difficulty lies in the length of the route and its positive ascent. Don't forget to set off early in the morning during the summer season, as there is no shade along the way.
