Achmelvich Beach

The Achmelvich Beach hike takes you along a spectacular bay in the Assynt region, near Lochinver. Here, white sand and turquoise waters evoke a tropical landscape. This coastal route offers much more than just a walk on the beach. You will discover the ruins of an old grain mill and secluded coves with white sand beaches nestled in peaceful surroundings.

Difficulties and description of the hike

Although the trail is not marked, it is generally in good condition and presents no technical difficulties. The route is perfectly suited to families, even those with young children.
