Stac Pollaidh
The Stac Pollaidh hike takes you to the top of one of Assynt's most iconic mountains, offering spectacular views of the lochs and secluded mountains so particular to the region. This short and relatively accessible route has become very popular due to its scenic beauty and the breathtaking panoramic views that await hikers at the summit.
The route described here leads to the eastern summit of Stac Pollaidh, the western summit requiring climbing skills. The well maintained but unmarked trail is easy to follow as the summit is visible from the start. The slopes are fairly steep, but without any major technical difficulties
