Skipness Castle
The Skipness Castle walk takes you on a journey of discovery through a remarkably well-preserved 13th-century castle located on the east coast of the Kintyre Peninsula. This accessible route combines history and coastal landscapes: you can explore the castle's rooms, climb the tower for breathtaking views of the Isle of Arran, visit the medieval Chapel of St. Brendan which is ideally located by the sea, before reaching the peaceful beach at Skipness Point.
