Parking: The parking lot at the trailhead is paid and has very limited space (about ten spots).
Recommended direction: Do the loop in a counterclockwise direction. This way, you will first cross the forest before enjoying the spectacular panorama that gradually reveals itself at the end of the trail—a reward that is as exceptional as it is unexpected.
If you're short on time, a round trip to Segestad Farm is a nice, shorter alternative (head west).
