Fairy Glen

Located west of the Trotternish Ridge on the Isle of Skye, Fairy Glen reveals a fascinating landscape reminiscent of a miniature Quiraing. Formed over 100,000 years ago by landslides, this unique geological site is characterised by its rounded hills, small lochans (ponds) and distinctive rock formations.

The main hill, Castle Ewen, resembles a medieval ruin from a distance and is the highlight of this walk. Having become very popular in recent years, this enchanting place is ideal for free exploration.
