Goðafoss waterfall
Goðafoss, a majestic waterfall with an impressive flow, is located in northern Iceland, along Route 1, the famous Golden Circle. The waters of the Skjálfandafljót River tumble from a height of 12 metres over a width of 30 metres, forming a majestic arc.
We highly recommend taking the hiking trail that runs alongside the river. You'll be able to admire Goðafoss from both banks, offering varied perspectives, and feel all its power as you approach almost at its feet. An unforgettable experience in the heart of Icelandic nature.
