Loch An Eilein
Explore Loch An Eilein, a superb lake nestled in the heart of the Rothiemurchus pine forest near Aviemore. This enchanting landscape is enhanced by the picturesque ruins of a castle on a small island in the middle of the lake.
This is one of the most popular walks in the Cairngorms National Park. The trail, which is mainly a wide forest track, is perfect for families and offers an enjoyable hiking experience accessible to all.
