Drone: South Hvolsvöllur

This place is difficult to get to, but absolutely exceptional. The colour contrast between the black sand beach, the yellow lake and the turquoise sea is striking. It is important to note that these colours are real and have not been altered in post-processing.

This place changes radically from one moment to the next. The first two photos were taken three weeks before the next ones and have absolutely nothing to do with each other! The yellow turns orange, and the lake no longer exists. In its place, a network of orange rivers has formed, offering an absolutely incredible spectacle.
