Skógafoss waterfall
Skógafoss is one of Iceland's most impressive waterfalls, standing 60 metres high and 25 metres wide. You can walk right up to its foot, but be prepared to get drenched by the powerful spray! On sunny days, you can admire magnificent single or double rainbows.
Skógafoss is the last waterfall on the Skógá River, which has about 25 cascades upstream. If you want to discover them, take the Waterfall Way for an unforgettable hike.
