Devil’s Pulpit

Explore the Devil's Pulpit, also known as the Finnish Glen, a 30 meters deep gorge near Loch Lomond. Its name refers to a rock in the shape of a church pulpit. And the reddish water (due to the red sandstone of the gorge) certainly seemed devilish to the first visitors.

The descent into the gorge is falicitated by the Devil's steps. But be careful, it's very steep and often slippery. So be extra careful. To reach the Devil's Pulpit, the most interesting spot in the gorge, you'll have to walk a few dozen meters in the stream. The water is usually knee deep.
