The trail is easy, accessible to all levels, and features a steady climb with moderate elevation gain. Starting in a pine forest, it crosses a birch grove before opening up to wide, unobstructed views.
- Start: about 200 meters from the parking area, continue along the track and look for the start of the trail on your right.
- Marking: the route is not marked, but it is clearly signposted by directional signs at strategic points.

Access and parking
The starting point is accessible via a well-maintained gravel road suitable for all types of vehicles for the last four kilometers. Please allow for a parking fee of NOK 40 (2025 rate).
