Nesland to Nusfjord

A very pleasant hike along the coast, starting in Nesland, a charming village with an end-of-the-world feel. The trail is clearly visible and marked with a red T in the rocky areas.

Although this hike is a Lofoten classic, it's not as easy as you might think. Some sections will require a certain amount of caution, including a crossing of large boulders, a fun experience for some but potentially stressful for others.

More details on the hike

The trail starts at the end of the road to Nesland, where you'll find a small parking lot. Arriving in Nesland, with its rugged coastline, colorful houses and majestic mountains in the background, is simply stunning. The trail is well-maintained, but be sure to follow the red T markers in the rocky areas to get your bearings. Expect to encounter a lot of mud and several sections equipped with chains- it's no picnic!

Don't forget to enjoy the charm of the village of Nusfjord before returning by the same way.
