Festvågtinden
Discover this popular hike in the southwest of Austvågøya island, near the picturesque village of Henningsvær. The trail is fairly steep, but not too difficult. It's easy to follow, thanks to the large number of hikers who use it. Right from the start, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful view of Henningsvær, while an open panorama awaits you at the summit.

To access this hike, if you're driving, you can park in the parking lot a few hundred meters before the entrance to Henningsvær. Then follow the road towards the village (east) for about 300 meters. The trailhead is on your left. After passing a few ruins, the climb quickly becomes steep, as is often the case in Lofoten. About half an hour after the start, you'll reach the charming lake of Heiavatnet, at an altitude of 190 meters. The hike then continues northwest to the summit of Festvågtinden, with no major difficulties other than the steepness of the slope. Along the way, you'll enjoy magnificent views of the village of Henningsvær.
On the way back, simply follow the same route as on the way up.
