Moltinden
Set off on a superb, short but intense hike from the village of Ramberg. The main difficulty is in the steep incline for most of the way. Fortunately, the trail remains clearly visible from start to finish, although finding the tracks in the scree can be tricky (keep an eye on the cairns for orientation).
The views along the way are simply magnificent. On the way up, you can admire the village and beach of Ramberg, the Skjelfjorden fjord and the northern island of Moskenesøya. Once at the top, you'll have a breathtaking view of Flakstadpollen Bay and the majestic mountains of southern Flakstadøya.

To start this hike, look for the trailhead on the small road opposite the Bunnpris store in Ramberg. It leads to a large metal reservoir. The hike begins with a steep climb to the small summit of Nubben (240m), which offers a beautiful view of Skjelfjorden fjord and the south of Flakstadøya island.
Next, you'll come across several trails. The one furthest to the right is the most difficult and won't take you all the way to the summit (much of it is off-trail). The one furthest to the left is a detour of little interest. We recommend that you take one of the middle paths, which leads to the northwest ridge of Moltinden, and then follow it all the way to the summit (you'll never be very close to the ridge, so don't worry about vertigo).
From Moltinden, you'll have panoramic views over much of the island of Flakstadøya and northern Moskenesøya. To the south, admire the ridge and impressive cliffs of Stortinden, while to the east unfolds the magnificent bay of Flakstadpollen.
Follow the same route back. Be careful on the way down, as the slopes are steep and slippery in places, especially where the path consists of gravel or small stones.

The slopes are steep, but never really exposed to the void. Only the last few meters to the summit may seem impressive to those afraid of heights. But you don't have to go all the way to the top to enjoy the view, which is just as spectacular a few meters below.
