Innerdalen Valley
Discover Innerdalen, an iconic valley often described as “Norway's most beautiful,” located in the heart of the stunning Trollheimen mountain range. This family-friendly hike takes you to the historic mountain farms of Renndølsetra and the nearby Innerdalshytta mountain hut. This walk offers a beautiful glimpse of Norway's first nature reserve, protected since 1967, and provides a true immersion in a magnificent alpine setting.

Parking: A large paid parking lot is available at the starting point (indicative cost: NOK 75 in 2025).
Opening period: Renndølsetra Farm and its café are open to visitors from around mid-June to the end of August. It then remains open on weekends in September.

The route follows a wide, well-maintained gravel track that is easily accessible to hikers of all levels and perfect for families. Navigation is extremely simple: Follow the gravel road and you won't get lost! There's no need for markings!
