Kerlingarfjöll hot spring
Kerlingarfjöll is a volcano that forms a majestic mountain range, rising to an altitude of 1,488 meters at the summit of Snækollur. The area abounds in hiking trails, the easiest of which leads to the Kerlingarfjöll hot spring.
This well-marked trail winds its way up the river through a delightful canyon and takes around 30 minutes to reach Kerlingarfjöll's only thermal pool, where you can enjoy a swim. A very pleasant walk at the end of the day to relax the muscles.
